Life and death of a symbol
They never thought they would be seduced by the image of death. That hairy skull so smileful, so her, that looks towards the east, towards where the sun rises, from now on will be overlooking the Hudson River enlightened each day by New York light. That house from now on will be secured by a great truth; that changes mean living and dying every day. The hary bony will always remind them that the image that they were born to deny and remember inhabits within their own skins and thoughts, that our own nature does not have to be demonized because nature is wisdom. Symbols also live and die and renew. Suddenly the voyagers stumbled upon a diary that was showing them the strongest image of all and they understood that life is not about rejecting, that what we put aside nourishes the thought of new concepts and understandings that are more universal. Mr. and Mrs. Fish decided to dive head into an unknown sea among bones and hair to emerge dressed up with a new gaze.
